EMPLOYMENT OUTREACH / WORKSHOPS

The Employment Outreach Unit of The Sullivan Center, Inc. is designed to provide employment assistance that will enhance the job search efforts of job seekers. Services include intake, assessment, counseling, resume and cover letter critique or development, job readiness workshops, current job listings, job/career fairs, business attire, and transportation assistance.

Employment workshops are conducted from 10 a.m. – 12 Noon the second Wednesday of each month and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the third Monday and third Thursday of the month when the Financial Assistance program is operational.

Anyone 18 years of age or older is welcome to attend. Attendance is mandatory for clients receiving financial help from the Center, who are not receiving a regular source of income and are able to work. Note: Unemployment compensation is not a regular source of income.

Referrals are also made to Workforce Development Agencies in Atlanta, Fulton County and DeKalb County, Enterprise, Goodwill Industries and agencies providing classes required for obtaining a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
